Shannon M. McDonald
SHANNON M. MCDONALD graduated from James Madison University in 2008 and received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, Cum Laude, in 2012. While in law school, she served as an Associate Editor on the Seton Hall Circuit Review, and was published for her work “Miranda Protections Threatened for Mentally Challenged Defendants: Sixth Circuit Distorts Supreme Court Precedent in Garner v. Mitchell.” She was active in the Litigation Society and externed for the Honorable Carmen Messano, P.J.A.D. Upon graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Mary Gibbons Whipple, J.A.D., in both the Family and Criminal Divisions of the Superior Court. Following her clerkship, she joined an insurance defense firm where she focused her practice on premises liability. Since joining our firm in 2016, she has practiced primarily in the areas of construction defect and premises liability. She is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts in New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
