John D. Gulyas

JOHN D. GULYAS served in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 to 1986. While serving in the Marines he selected and successfully completed the Marine Security Guard program, which allowed Mr. Gulyas to accept assignments from the United States Department of State. Mr. Gulyas served as a Marine Security Guard at the American Embassies in Budapest, Hungary and Caracas, Venezuela. Upon conclusion of his time in the Marines Mr. Gulyas worked as a Detective in the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office and later as a Corrections Officer for the Somerset County Sheriff. During his time working as a Corrections Officer Mr. Gulyas attended Rutgers University graduating with a bachelor's degree in political science. Mr. Gulyas went on the attend Seton Hall Law School graduating in 1999.
During his time in law school Mr. Gulyas worked at a small law firm that specialized in handling automobile injury cases. Upon graduation from law school Mr. Gulyas took a position with the firm, but a year later moved to a firm specializing in handling insurance defense cases. Mr. Gulyas has experience in handling defense of cases involving personal injury, product liability, breach of contract, construction negligence, subrogation, and claims under Federal Law.
Mr. Gulyas is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey and the United States Court for the District of New Jersey,
